This bag is awesome! It is very sturdy and durable. Many pockets for stuffing things and top opens wide to put in a laptop etc. The straps are comfortable too. Fits perfectly under the airplane seat.

The more I use it, the better it gets.The roll top allows you to pack longer and odd shaped items when needed.The magnetic top secures contents when bag upends or tips over. The outside pocket holds phone, keys, whatever you need quickly and secures with a zipper, no wrestling with buckles (it's just decorative).The back deep pockets hold wallet easily. Shoulder straps are not overly padded but contours to my narrower shoulders unlike a lot of packs.The handle is attached well and comfortable to use.The straps securing the rolled top are easy to use, no buckles to fight with and the stay close to the bag when closed.

Bought this for our beach vacation. I think for the most part, it did stay dry, though it's not like it fell in the beach or anything. It does look a bit funny when it's full and on your back. It's not a bad backpack and the price is decent, but I can't say it's my favorite, but it does what it needs to.
